We had a wonderful Christmas! I hope you did too!
Christmas Eve we had fun with our yearly traditions of making cookies, watching Christmas movies, and putting reindeer food out in the front yard!
Yeah...I'm a cookie monster lol!
The boys racked up and got almost everything they wanted! They were very happy Christmas morning!
Our Christmas tradition is for Andy's family to come on Christmas Eve and stay the night with us so we are all together to open gifts on Christmas morning! It's always so fun having everyone there!
My sweet boys were super sweet to me this year! They bought me brand new pillows for the couch to match the new colored walls we painted over Thanksgiving! They also bought me a brand new Keurig!!! It's also the color of our walls!
I've been enjoying it immensely of course!!!
It was fun having everyone over for Christmas! But it was also nice to be able to relax after they left!
This little (well not so little lol) guy has enjoyed having Daddy home as much as we have!!! No...he isn't spoiled at all!!! ;-)
We also went and saw the new Star Wars movie...Rogue One! We all loved it! But then the next day we learned of Carrie Fisher passing away and it made us so sad.
As you can tell from our pictures...Christmas here in the south has been hot! It was almost 80 degrees on Christmas Day! So we've been in shorts and short sleeve shirts lately! Well...LuLaRoe leggings and short sleeves for me! ;-)
Now it's time for Fitness Friday! I've gotten in all my runs! I even reach day 950 this week! I haven't done any strength training though. I love going to classes and the multi purpose room has been closed for renovations all week. But I will hit it hard again after the new year!
- Friday- 2.7 mile run in 21:15 average pace 8:01
- Saturday- 9.1 mile run in 1:18:53 average pace 8:43
- Sunday- 3.1 mile run in 24:52 average pace 7:58
- Monday- 2.6 mile run in 21:21 average pace 8:06
- Tuesday- 2.7 mile run in 21:25 average pace 8:03
- Wednesday- 2.7 mile run in 21:20 average pace 8:03
- Thursday- 2.7 mile run in 21:55 average pace 8:04
It was a great week of runs! The weather was in the 60's and 70's when I was running! I love it! Today the high is in the 50's since we had a cold front come through last night. So my long run will be quite chilly in the morning.
I have 10 miles on the schedule for tomorrow! It will be good because I intend on splurging at the New Year's Eve party we are going to!!!
I hope you all have a very Happy New Year! Talk to ya next year!!!
QOTD: What was your best run or workout this week? Is the weather cold or hot where you live?
