We have several friends coming over tonight to eat pizza, trick or treat, and celebrate Andy's birthday! It's our Halloween/Birthday tradition and we are so excited!!!
We had an amazing weekend! We started it off Friday night by going to the gym to do BodyPump! My hubby came with me and we had a great workout!!! Then it was pizza time! It's our Friday night tradition!!!
Saturday morning I woke up super early to get in a long run. I ran a 10K...in the dark! But I got it done! Then I headed to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk with Andy and the boys. We were doing a water stop with the Boy Scouts! It was fun!
Our friends Kirstin, Jim, and Maddy were out participating in the walk so we got to see them as they came through!
After the walk we went with one of the other Boy Scout leaders to tour his office. He works at Airbus! It was really neat seeing how airplanes are made! The boys loved it!
The rest of the day we spent cleaning the house! It felt so good to get everything really clean!
I also sent the hubby out for Halloween candy and he came home with this!!! We have a TON!!!! But that's ok since Halloween is one of my favorite holidays!!! ;-)
Saturday night we attended a cul-de-sac Halloween party! We had a blast! Lots of yummy food and sitting around a fire! And of course I had to wear my Halloween LulaRoe leggings!
We had some The Walking Dead fans there...which will understand this skull cake! ;-)
One of the couples dressed up as Negan and "Lucille" from The Walking Dead! I just had to have some fun photo opps!!! So fun!
Negan about to swing Lucille! Lol!
It was such a fun night!!! Sunday we all slept in since we had a late night! Of course I got my run in and then it was time for coffee! The night before, Kirstin's husband Jim surprised both of us! Our friend Tyler's mom had come to visit. She lives in Hawaii. Jim arranged for her to bring me and Kirstin the Hawaii You Are Here Starbucks mug from there! He gave it to us at the Halloween party! We were sooooo excited and happy!!!
So of course that's the mug I had to drink my coffee out of Sunday morning! The hubby (and Archie) joined me on the back porch!
The rest of the day we finished up cleaning the house and getting laundry done. We also took Archie to the dog park to play. He had a blast! And he met a new friend named Rocky! Rocky is a Great Dane and weighs 150 pounds! He was HUGE! Archie (who weighs 70 pounds) looked so small next to him! Rocky was so sweet, calm, and beautiful!!!
