Monday it was back to work and school for me and the boys. But my day got a little brighter when I got a text from Jen saying she was in town for the day! She wanted to meet up for coffee after work. Well of course!!!! It was so great seeing her and her precious boys!!!
Once I got home I got rewarded with the best mail ever!!!! I admit I had been stalking the mailbox ever since Thursday after seeing everyone else's posts. I knew mine was on the way but it wasn't official until it was official you know? But now I can officially announce that I am a RunningSkirts Ambassador!!!
I have been running in their skirts ever since I first started running! I LOVE them! So happy to be part of Team RunningSkirts!!!
As you can see we received lots of goodies...a duffle bag, compression socks, a headband, and a tank!
Y'all...the tank is AMAZING! It is called the "Keep It Chill" tank because when activated with moisture (like sweat or water) Xylitol infused hearts provide a cooling effect. It keeps you cool when you are running! It's magical y'all! And perfect for this Gulf Coast girl in the summer!
I also LOVE their headbands! They have several that match the patterns on the skirts. And they don't budge while wearing them!
And their compression socks are some of my favorite! I have so many prints! They are super cute but true compression so you get all the benefits!
Super excited to represent this company!!!!
Monday afternoon my goofball Sawyer cracked us up once again! He was putting away his clean clothes and one of Andy's pairs of shorts was mixed in. He put them on and started dancing around the house! That kid is hilarious!!!

Tuesday afternoon I took Hayden to art class. Then Sawyer and I spent the afternoon outside enjoying the gorgeous weather before we had to go pick Hayden back up. Afternoon coffee on the back porch with Sawyer = great afternoon!
For dinner that night we met our friends, the Brendels, for some sushi! Well...some of us got sushi and some of us got hibachi. ;-) I LOVE sushi! It was an AMAZING dinner and I ate every bite! I was SO FULL afterwards but it was worth it!
My best friend Stephanie, who lives in California, doesn't eat sushi but her husband Tim does. Every time either one of us eats sushi we always take a picture and send it to each other. They introduced us to the Brendels so Jim and I knew we had to send Tim a picture of our sushi!!!
Tuesday we also picked up a certain BluRay that Hayden was super excited about!!!
It's a good thing too because in the middle of the night Hayden woke up throwing up. :-( I stayed home with him the next day and he got to watch his new Star Wars movie! Luckily the bug he had didn't last too long and he was feeling so much better. I was able to get so much done that day! I did all the laundry, cleaned the house, did my lesson plans for next week, and cleaned out my closet! I took 6 garbage bags full of clothes to Goodwill the next day! Felt great to be so productive! And I had over 17,000 steps that day!!!
Now it's time for Fitness Friday! Even though I had to go back to early, dark runs this week the runs were great! And...the sun is starting to rise earlier so it isn't as dark as I expected. Yay!

It was a great week of runs! I'm still enjoying my run streak so much! I hit day 685 this week!!! It's amazing to think I've been running every single day for that long!!!
This weekend my boys are camping with Cub Scouts! This momma isn't camping but I am going to spend the day with them at the campsite on Saturday. But first I'll be getting in a long run. I plan on running 5-6 miles.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!!
QOTD: I know some of you are experiencing non spring like weather. Is it warm or cold where you live? What was your best run or workout this week?
