Friday started out with my morning coffee out of the new mug my sweet Hayden brought me back from Space Camp! He wanted to get me a mug and when he found one with my name on it he was so excited! I've always said that my name is never found on anything!
At work that day we had Pancakes for Pops! All the children's Dads came to eat pancakes with them. It was a special morning for them!
After work my plan was to head to Mobile and pick up my race packet for the Azalea Trail Run the next day. But for some reason the traffic was horrendous that afternoon! A drive that would normally take about 15-20 minutes was going to take about 57 minutes due to traffic! And it was raining on top of that! So Andy told me to wait and go later that night. The whole family ended up going with me. The traffic was nonexistent when we went at 7:30 that night thank goodness!
The rest of the night was spent relaxing with the family and this little guy! He cracks me up when he sits like this!!!
Saturday morning ended up being a beautiful morning for the Azalea Trail Run 10K! The rain showers that were predicted stayed away and even the sun came out! It was a fun race! I'll tell you all about it soon. I've got tons of race recaps lined up to write! I promise I'll get them all written and posted soon!
After the race I got all showered and went out to lunch with the family. After lunch I went dress shopping for Easter! I found the perfect one! Of course after shopping a Starbucks break was needed! And since Andy was sweet and helped me shop via pictures and text messages I brought him back a coffee too!
I also received in the mail my new shirt that Grandmary made for me! Isn't it precious??? You can visit All Things Grandmary to see all the amazing things she makes!!!
That evening we went to Kirstin and Jim's house for pizza and to meet the newest addition to their family! They got a precious new puppy named Lulu! She is a golden doodle and is so sweet! She literally looks like a teddy bear!
Sunday morning I got in a chilly 2.5 miles before heading to church. The rest of the day was spent getting ready for the week!
Now it's time for the Weekly Chase! It's a new week and I have new goals to achieve! I hope you will link up your own goals with me too! And feel free to use the badge below in your post too! You can grab the badge HERE! :-)
