Speaking of birthdays...today is my Dad's birthday! Happy happy birthday Dad!!! I love you so much!!!!
Friday we had our fall festival at my preschool. The kids had a blast and were so cute!!!
After school I came home to a birthday package from my best friend Stephanie that lives in California!
She got me an owl necklace (since I love owls!) and the Starbucks California You Are Here Mug!!! I love these sweet gifts! So blessed with such sweet friends!!!
Friday afternoon we dropped Sawyer off for gymnastics then Hayden and I headed to Starbucks! Love Friday Frapp Day!!!
Later that night we headed to the mall with our friends Lora, Joe, and 2 of their 3 kids! We went trick or treating at the mall! Then they had an outside showing of the movie "Honey I Shrunk the Kids!" It was so much fun!!!
Saturday morning Jenny and I ran the Faster than Boo Virtual 10K race! We had a great run and it was a fun way to start out Halloween (and also my hubby's birthday)!!!
I also got to try the Starbucks Frappula with Kirstin and Nancy! I had them add a shot of espresso to mine since it didn't have coffee in it. And I didn't want whipped cream either since I'm not a big fan of it. The drink was pretty good! It was really sweet and not something I would normally order but it was a great treat!
Later that afternoon we had friends over for pizza, trick or treating, and to celebrate Andy's birthday! There was rain in the forecast but luckily it held off so the kids could trick or treat! It was such a fun afternoon!!!
Sunday morning I ran 3.7 miles for my 37th birthday...in the rain! So fun! Then we went to church. After church we went to lunch at my favorite seafood place with our friends Kirstin, Jim, their daughter Maddy, Nancy, Joe, Andy's parents, and Andy's sister and her husband and baby Ronan! The restaurant even brought me a birthday peach cobbler but I only ate a few bites. I was sooo full from my yummy lunch!
Kirstin was super sweet and bought me my first Alex and Ani bracelet! I've been wanting one for a while! She got me the one that says, "It's not a sprint, it's a marathon!" Very fitting for me! I love it!
After lunch, the family came over for coffee. And my mother in law decided to drink out of my new birthday PR celebration mug from Jenny! Say what???!!! Lol!
Of course I didn't have any coffee at home. I waited and headed to Starbucks later. I had to get my free birthday frapp!!! Kirstin and Nancy met me there. When I walked in, my favorite barista Marlon started singing Happy Birthday to me!!!! And then he gave me my frapp for free...so I didn't have to use my birthday reward! And he made it a trenta size!!! So sweet!!!!
It was an amazing birthday! I got lots of gift cards for new clothes...and Starbucks gift cards too! ;-) And I got lots of happy birthday wishes on social media...thank you all so much!!! I'm so very blessed! 37 isn't too shabby!!!
Now it's time for the Weekly Chase! It's a new week and I have new goals to achieve! I hope you will link up your own goals with me too! And feel free to use the badge below in your post too! You can grab the badge HERE! :-)
Here are my goals from last week!
- Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! I hit day 515 this week!
- Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Yep!
- Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. I did great during the week. On the weekend not so much. But it was my birthday after all!
- Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week. Yes!
- Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles. Yes!
- Goal #6: Get everything ready for Halloween and Andy's birthday (and my birthday on Sunday)! Yes! We had a super fun Halloween and birthday celebration!
Here are my goals for this week!
Goal #1: Run every day! Definitely going to keep my streak alive!
Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Gotta try and stay injury free!
Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Need to be better about logging my foods this week.
Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week. Got to reach this goal even if it takes walking around the living room at the end of the day lol!
Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles. This is my forced "rest" day. It really helps!
Goal #6: Fuel and hydrate for my 10K race on Saturday! My next race is on Saturday! This is a fun local 10K race that I do every year. Need to make sure I'm fueled properly especially since it's going to be warm and not cold like it was last year for this race!
That's the plan for this week! I hope you have a great week conquering your goals as well!
QOTD: What goals are you chasing this week?
