Friday we started our day by heading to Starbucks. We had back to school shopping to do so I needed coffee!
Before we shopped we had to get the oil changed in the van! Luckily it didn't take long but the boys and I had to send a silly picture to Daddy while we were sitting in the waiting room!
After shopping and lunch with Daddy we headed up to my classroom to work. I had some last minute things to get done. Look at my cute classroom door! I kept my owl theme this year! I love owls!
Saturday we cleaned out the boys' closets and went through their school uniforms. Luckily they both still had plenty of shirts that fit. But they had outgrown all of their shorts and pants! So it was time for some school uniform shopping! But Starbucks happened first of course!
Saturday afternoon we headed to Andy's parents' house for dinner. His brother and his family were in town from Virginia! We don't get to see them often so it was nice spending some time with them! And my nephew Ronan was there too! He's getting so big!
Early Sunday morning I ran 8 miles with my Sole2Soul Sisters. It was so hot y'all! Then we headed to Andy's parents' church. His parents were getting confirmed and his brother was being baptized. It was a special morning!
After church we found a field of sunflowers along the side of the road and stopped for some pictures. They were gorgeous!
That afternoon I had my afternoon Starbucks break. I needed that frapp after waking up at 4:30AM for my 8 mile run that morning!
Then another afternoon treat involved Krispy Kreme donuts for the whole family! Yum!
Later that evening Andy and I left without the boys. They are staying with their grandparents for the next few days since I have teacher meetings to attend. I'm going to miss them but I'm also looking forward to time with just me and Andy!

Here are my goals from last week!
- Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! I ran every day and even reached day 440 of my run streak! I took a little of a mile walks after every run this week! I really enjoyed that but that will come to an end as I start back to work.
- Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Yes!
- Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Yes! I did great this week! Yay!
- Goal #4: Finish decorating and organizing my classroom. Yes! I got it all done except for the last minute things that I can't do until I get my class list.
- Goal #5: Complete my school calendar, parent letter, and first week lesson plans. Yes! I finished all of this!
Here are the goals I'm chasing this week!
Goal #1: Run every day! Definitely continuing the run streak even though I start back to work this week!
Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Gotta keep this up so I can reduce the risk of injury!
Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. School is starting back which means there will be lots of yummy goodies at work. I need to be strong and only choose healthy things.
Goal #4: Get student names written on everything in my classroom. I should receive my class list today so I can start putting the student's names on everything. Fun!
Goal #5: Try to plan at least one more fun day with my boys before school starts back next week. I may not be able to do this but I'm going to try my hardest to enjoy at least one more day of summer vacation stress free!
So that's my plan for this week! It will be a busy week for me with all my teacher meetings. But it's also one of my favorite times of the year. Back to school is always an exciting time!
