This weekend was the camping trip with the Cub Scouts. My husband is a den leader and had to be there so he camped. But me and the boys decided to just come up on Saturday and stay for the day. I did not want to risk the boys getting sick by sleeping in the cold air. Hayden had his rain gutter regata boat races that morning. His boat didn't win any of the races but he DID win first place for "Most Nautical Boat!" He was so proud! His boat was a pirate theme and was named "The Black Pearl!"
Hayden's boat is the first one on the left! :-)
After the boat races we got to spend the rest of the day doing whatever we wanted. It was cold but still nice to enjoy the outdoors! The boys had a blast building a huge fort at the edge of the woods with some of the other boys! I didn't see them all afternoon lol!
Our pack meeting and campfire that was scheduled was moved inside in the dining hall. It was just too cold outside. Here's Hayden receiving his awards he has earned so far.
Sunday was a day getting all the camping stuff put away. It was also a day of laundry and getting ready for the week.
Now it's time for the Weekly Chase! It's a new week and I have new goals to achieve! I hope you will link up your own goals with me too! And feel free to use the badge below in your post too! You can grab the badge HERE! :-)
Here are last week's goals!
- Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! The #RRGRunStreak is still alive! I hit day 175 this week!
- Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Yes! Trying to get this calf strain better!
- Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Yep! :-)
- Goal #4: Have a fun day with the boys on Tuesday. Yes! We had a play date with friends and all had a blast!
- Goal #5: Help Hayden get his rain gutter regatta boat finished for Cub Scouts. Yes! We got it all painted and decorated!
Here are my goals for this week!
Goal #1: Run every day! Still hoping to keep the streak alive! The calf feels better with each run. It still gets tight towards the end of the run and for a little while after the run. But it's progress and I'm happy!
Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Gotta get this calf better so I can run St. Jude Memphis Half in 3 weeks!
Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. I'm starting to get the hang of this maintaining thing. Although I still feel a little guilty when I indulge...even when I have the calories for it.
Goal #4: Get everything ready for Hayden's Montgomery trip. Hayden and I are traveling to Montgomery this week with his class for a field trip. I need to go and buy snacks and lunch items for the trip.
Goal #5: Get everything ready for our Thanksgiving Feast at the preschool. I need to get my class's placemats, centerpieces, and pilgrim costumes ready for our school wide feast on Friday.
It's going to be a busy week! Hopefully I can stay on top of all my goals! Hope you are successful with your goals this week too!
QOTD: What goals are you chasing this week?
