One thing that I can't seem to fathom is how dry it is here. A lot of the grass is sand colored because of the drought here. Occasionally there will be some green grass but it seems to be rare.
I'm loving the cooler temperatures here in the morning though! It is usually in the high 50's when I'm running which is absolutely perfect running weather! But then it gets HOT pretty fast!

Here are last week's goals!
- Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! I have kept the streak alive so far here in California!
- Goal #2: Roll and stretch daily. 50%. I've been stretching every day but I only rolled twice this week. :-(
- Goal #3: Log and stay under all my calories this week. Yes! I've done great with this so far! My friend Stephanie who I'm staying with has been great helping me with this!
- Goal #4: Pack! Yes I got this all finished the day before I left for California! It's hard packing for yourself and two kids lol!
Here are my goals for this week!
Goal #1: Run every day! With hardly any humidity here it's been awesome to run! I plan to keep the streak alive!
Goal #2: Roll and stretch daily. I've got to do better with the rolling part this week!
Goal #3: Log and stay under all my calories this week. I hope to keep doing well with this while I'm on vacation. But if I go over I'm not going to be too hard on myself. I do want to enjoy the different foods California has to offer.
Goal #4: Have fun in San Francisco!!! We have lots of plans this week...walking across the Golden Gate Bridge, riding the trolleys, Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf, Muir Woods. It's going to be a blast!
