But then....Monday evening Sawyer didn't want to eat his dinner and told me, "When I look at food it makes me want to throw up." He said his tummy didn't hurt so I just assumed he wasn't hungry. I sent him to bed like normal. Around midnight he comes into our room....and he had thrown up all over his bed poor guy! He felt awful! My AMAZING husband (because I do NOT do throw up well) cleaned up all the mess while I sat with Sawyer in the bathroom for the next two hours. It is NOT fun seeing your child throwing up and knowing there is nothing you can do to help them feel better.
So Tuesday was a stay at home day for me and Sawyer. Luckily he felt so much better when he woke up that morning and we were both back at school on Wednesday.
The rest of the week was normal thank goodness. But...guess what? Remember all the flooding we had last week? Well as of this afternoon we are under another Flash Flood Watch until Sunday afternoon!!! Are you kidding me??? I'm praying that the rain is not even close to what it was last week.
Want to hear some good news? Remember how I went to Memphis last December to run for St. Jude and the race got canceled? Well....I signed up to run the race again! And yes I will be running as a St. Jude Hero! That means I will be fundraising for St. Jude again and I'd LOVE your help! If you'd like to donate to such an awesome cause the link is HERE! I would sooo appreciate your support!!!

Weight loss this week: 1.1 lbs.
Weight loss total: 13.5 lbs.
I felt great about my runs this week! Every run I felt strong...and fast! I'm loving the 2 milers I've been doing on Sundays. Although I've wanted to run it as a recovery run each time I have ended up running pretty fast. But I felt great so I've just been going with it!
I was shocked that I lost 1.1 pounds this week! Remember how I told you that I didn't eat real well Friday night...and then I ate a donut on Saturday? Well I guess a splurge every now and then is ok and won't mess you up too bad.
My plan is to run 6 miles tomorrow. But it's supposed to be raining (flash flooding) so we will see if I even get to run at all. If it's a light rain with no lightning I will run. Unfortunately there's rain in our forecast until Monday! :-/ Hopefully there's a break in the rain Saturday morning so I can get that run in!
