I ran my long run at the beach Saturday morning (I'll recap it for you tomorrow) and then spent the rest of the day playing in the Gulf and in the pool and just having a blast hanging with my family. We came home late Saturday night because we had church obligations the next day. Sawyer got his first grade Bible and was so excited!!!
We also had our first Cub Scouts pack meeting of the new school year! Both my boys, not just Hayden, are now in Cub Scouts. Then I had an afternoon recovery run with my Sole2Soul Sisters! It's been a fun weekend and I wasn't ready for it to end!
But now it's time for a new week and new goals! It's Weekly Chase time! I hope you will join us this week and link up!
It's September! A new month means a new challenge and Molly has a great one for us! It's back to school time so Molly wants us all to learn something new or do something new each week!
Here are my goals from last week and how I did with them!
- Goal #1: Run 3 times this week. Yes! I actually ended up running 4 times this week!!! Yay!
- Goal #2: Try a new healthy food this week (challenge goal). Big FAIL! I got so busy with work and life that I completely forgot about this goal. :-(
- Goal #3: Write a few giveaway posts this week. Yes! I got one giveaway post written and posted! Make sure you enter my Beat Cancer Shubeez Giveaway!!!
- Goal #4: Roll and stretch daily. 50% success with this one. I still need to work on this. My left quad is really really tight and I need to stretch it out to prevent it from getting injured.
Here are my goals for this week! I have a lot of repeats this week!
Goal #1: Run 3-4 times this week. I'm going to try for 4 times but I'm not going to beat myself up if I only get in 3 runs. I just need to make sure to get in two short runs and a long run.
Goal #2: Try a new recipe (challenge goal). Y'all know I hate to cook. I wish I liked it....because I love to eat! I'm going to attempt a new recipe this week for one of our dinners.
Goal #3: Write a few giveaway posts this week. Yes I have a few more that I need to get written!
Goal #4: Roll and stretch daily. I'm hoping to get my quad feeling better by rolling and stretching this week.
Goal #5: Get my lesson plans done by Thursday so I don't have to do them over the weekend. I want to dedicate the weekend to family time so I need to get my lesson plans done so I'm not working on them instead of being with the family.
