What a wonderful way to begin Christmas...doing what I love to do...RUN! Had a great run this morning with some GREAT friends! It really hit me as I was running down the road watching the beautiful sunrise how amazing it is that God created all of that beauty. I have so many things to be thankful for...including the blessing that God gave me legs with which to run with!
I ran 8 miles in 1:28:56 at an average pace of 11:06!
Now ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus with my precious family! Merry Christmas!!!
did this too! Merry Christmas! =)

ReplyDeleteWow...I feel so lucky to have found you blog. I have spent the last 3 hours reading it from start to finish. I feel so motivated by you and you running success. I have really let my physical appearance slip over the past 9 years. I have 3 beautiful daughters but do not feel comfortable in my own skin. It's like this isn't my body. I lack the confidence that I used have. One of the things I loved before starting my family was exercise and running. I completed a handful of 5Ks 11 or 12 years ago and my first (of many) goals is to complete one again. It will be a tough road as I am out of shape and overweight but I feel confident that it is possible. Thank you so much for the motivation you have provided me in your blog. In addition to becoming a runner (again), I'd love a Garmin watch and am thinking about documenting my story in a running blog!! Thank you. I'll be looking forward to your next blog post.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for reading Monica! And you can do it girl! You just have to get started! If I can do it, anyone can do it! Good luck! And let me know if you start a blog...I would love to read it!!!
