I am a huge fan of The Biggest Loser...as you probably gathered from this post! So I was sooo excited to head to Panama City Beach, FL to run this race!
My friend Paige was running it with me and we were super excited for a girls weekend! We headed that way on Saturday. Our first stop was the expo so we could pick up our race packet! I got really excited when I started seeing all the signs!
When we first walked in we had to sign a waiver. We then took the waiver to another room where we picked up our race bib and goodie bag. It was a very fast procedure and very organized!
We then walked into the expo area where we would get our shirts. The expo was pretty small but bigger than I expected. There were a few vendors there. They had the local running store there and a race jewelry vendor.
They also had a booth set up where you could buy official The Biggest Loser RunWalk merchandise!
There was also a stage and some of the contestants from Season 14 were up there talking! It was awesome to hear their stories and experiences first hand! And the audience could even ask them questions!
We looked around briefly and then went to pick up our race shirt.
They even had people set up to give you a massage! They were charging $1 a minute. Paige took advantage since her IT Band was bothering her!
While Paige was enjoying her massage I got to meet Francie and Jeff from Season 14! I had done a phone interview with them a few days before (post will be coming soon) so I was super excited to meet them in person. They were so nice!
Next, Jackie and Dan from Season 5 took the stage! It was very inspirational hearing them speak too! Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture because I was shopping lol!
But we DID get to meet Pam and Jackson from Season 14!
And Gina from Season 14! Gina will also be at the Mobile, AL race that I am running too!
The expo was a lot of fun! I absolutely LOVED getting to meet and take pictures with the former contestants! They are still so inspirational and look amazing!
