Because let's face it. I'm going to run. And I'm going to run races. Because I LOVE running and I LOVE the bling at races! So why wouldn't I take advantage of a chance to earn another medal?
So I have entered Digital Running's Interstate Challenge! All you have to do is run a marathon or half marathon race in two different states between January 1- December 31, 2013! For doing this you will receive another medal to add to your race bling! Score!!! The medal design will be revealed in April..I can't wait to see it!
I am surrounded by several states so I am excited about this challenge! I've already run races in Florida (Walt Disney World Marathon and Seaside School Half) and Louisiana (Rock 'n' Roll New Orleans Half) this year. I have another Florida race in April (Gulf Coast Half Pensacola Beach). I will be adding Tennessee (St. Jude Memphis Half) in December!
I've only run 4 different states in my running career: Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Georgia. I hope to add more states in each year. How cool would it be to run ALL the states?
